Catch up post...

To say the past few months have been crazy would be a drastic understatement.  Work has been out of control busy with no real end in sight.  While being busy is good, being this busy is exhausting!!

In addition to work, we were just all around busy.  Katelyn started taking swim lessons twice a week from mid-july to mid-august.  There is a lady in Pearland who gives the lessons and she is amazing.  After just a couple of classes, she was refusing to wear her floaties and wanted to practice.  We can't wait to go back next summer.  We also enjoyed a Skeeters (the new Sugar Land Minor League Baseball Team) game with the Kelly's.  The girls had a blast running Diane and I all over the stadium.  There was also some racing, playing, and visiting Austin mixed in.  Since I am exhausted from a busy day and I have to go into work tomorrow (yes on a Sunday...I told you we were busy.  Plus I am currently serving on a Jury and missing work), I am going to let the pictures do the talking.  Enjoy!!

Jay and Cari's Wedding

Lake Tahoe has to be one of the most beautiful places to get married.  Jay and Cari picked a fantastic spot on the beach for their special day.  One of their friends, who is photographer, offer to photograph the wedding and festivities which was truly appreciated.  After everyone was dressed in their beach wedding best, we headed down the mountain.  Once we arrived, we picked the perfect spot for family pictures and enjoyed the view as well as the photo ops.  When the officiant arrived, Jay and Cari headed down to the beach for their special moment.  While short and sweet, the ceremony was perfectly fitted for Jay and Cari.  I cannot imagine a more perfect setting for their special day.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the smiles on their faces!  So nice to see.

I apologize for the lack of pictures.  It's hard to snap pics while trying to occupy a 3yr old, cry and be excited all at the same time...haha.

After the wedding, we headed back to the rental house for the reception/party!!  It was laid back and casual, which was a nice continuation of the wedding ceremony.
