Since meeting Chris, I have been trying to expand my horizons when it comes to food. He eats basically anything and I was very picky. It made for many long hours trying to decide what to eat. So, I have made an effort to try new things. One of things I have never really liked is soup except for Broccoli Cheese. Well, we have been really into using the crockpot and have discovered McCormick Slow Cooker seasoning packets. They are wonderful. Tonight we tried the Chicken Noodle Soup for the first time and it was awsome....even Katelyn liked it! So easy and so tasty! Here is the recipe....
Ingredients
1 package McCormick® Slow Cookers Chicken Noodle Soup Seasoning
1-2 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 3/4-inch cubes (we used 1.5lbs and it really could use more!)
2 cups sliced carrots
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup chopped onion
5 cups water
1 cup uncooked medium egg noodles
PLACE chicken and vegetables in slow cooker.
MIX Seasoning and water until blended. Pour over chicken and vegetables. Cover.
COOK 8 hours on LOW. Stir in noodles. Cover. Cook 10 minutes longer on HIGH or until noodles are tender.
Makes 8 servings.
