Merry Christmas to me!

As most of you know, I like to have everything organized.  I do not function well when things are not organized and tidy.  This is especially true for the garage.  When it gets all cluttered, I just about lose it.  Well, the garage was a disaster and I had been complaining about it to my mom forever.  So, when she was trying to figure out what to get me, she decided spending a couple of days with me organizing the garage would be perfect.  She was right!  I am truly blessed to have a mom as great as she is.  She knows me so well and knows just want to do to make my life easier.  She was here Monday to Thursday and we got more done in those 3 1/2 days then I could have imagined.  Here are a few before and after pictures of the garage...I looks amazing.  Even Chris likes it and is helping to keep it clean.

After all of that work, I was still lucky enough to get help with the attic.  We have very limited attic space (hence all of the stored stuff in the garage).  We have needed to put some plywood down in the attic since we moved in, but never seem to have time.  Well, now its done (well mostly).  We have alot more storage space up there which has freed up some storage space in the upstairs closets. 

The help continues even when shes not here.  On her way home, she helped me decide how to reorganize the study to make it more conducive to doing arts and crafts with Katelyn and finally get some use out of that room.  I cant wait to make the changes we came up with and get the study up and running!

Needless to say, sometimes the best gifts are ones that we do not pay for!  My mom is amazing and I am so very lucky to have her as part of my life.  Thank you mom!
