We spent last weekend at the racetrack and had a blast.  Chris did really well both Saturday and Sunday to start the IHRA season off with a bang.  Katelyn thoroughly enjoyed riding with Granny-Gran and Grandpa in the motorhome on Friday while Chris and I worked.  Not only did she get to ride in the motorhome, she got to go out to lunch and help Grandpa drive.  Both she and Haley had to go for a golf cart ride once they were parked at the track.  She had so much fun! 

On Saturday and Sunday, she loved being outside.  The weather was amazing (except for the wind) so she spent a majority of the day outside as did the rest of us.  We spent some time with racing friends the Salters(Travis, Shelbie and Kayden who is just a few months older than Katelyn) and the girls played with cars. 

It was a great weekend.  Chris is off to race again this weekend with Jim and Patsy.  Katelyn and I will be staying behind to avoid the 6hr drive to Belle Rose, LA.  My mom will be coming for a visit and some landscaping fun!  I am sure there will be lots of pictures to come.  I hope Chris does as well or better this weekend and he did last.  We will be keeping up with the action online.
