Fun Weekend

What a fantastic weekend we had in Austin.  Jay and Cari were in Austin for a visit, so we packed up and headed that way.  We have not see Jay since Dec. 2009 and so much has changed since then.  They arrived Saturday afternoon and barely had time to rest before everyone came over for a little gathering.  Mom's birthday is tomorrow (Feb. 2), so I thought it would be nice to have a little early birthday celebration while Jay was in town.  We had Judy and the girls over, Dad and Lisa, and of course the rest of us.  It was a packed house, but we had alot of fun.  The margaritas were flowing, even virgin ones for the girls and Katelyn..yes, she LOVED the virgin strawberry margaritas (thanks Chris) and the food was great (thanks Chris and Lupes).  It was nice to catch up with everyone and just relax. 

Katelyn had a great weekend too.  She spent lots of time outside with the dogs and Grandma enjoying the amazing weather.  She also got to play with some of the neighbor kids and their fun toys, like a motorized car.  Here are a few highlights....
