Our last full day in San Diego was spent doing a little of this and a little of that. We had a nice relaxing morning. All the go go go had finally caught up with Katelyn and she was so tired. She went down for an early nap. Since they were home, Dad and Lisa offered to stay with Katelyn so Chris and I could do some exploring downtown. We headed over to Seaport Village and did a little shopping. Its an outdoor shopping area right on the water. We also stopped by the bar where they filmed the sleezy bar scene in Top Gun. My brother used to watch Top Gun a gazillion times a day growing up, so it has a special place in my heart! We had a very nice and relaxing time and Katelyn slept forever, so we enjoyed a lot of time.
After a nice day, we headed to Pacific Beach (I think) for dinner on the water. The weather was perfect, so we ate outside on the patio right next to the water. Not too long after we finished dinner, the live music started. After listening to the music for a little bit, we hit up the awesome YougurtLand for some frozen yogurt. We walked from there down to the boardwalk. As always, the weather was just perfect for a stroll watching the sunset, eating yogurt. Katelyn could not wait to get her shoes off and put her toes in the sand. It was a perfect last night in San Diego.
